Stacie Durkin

Partner & Co-Founder

Stacie Durkin, RN, RHIA, is a performance-driven healthcare professional who has led complex technology and organizational strategies and implementations. She is a regular industry voice contributing to numerous workgroups and has authored and published many articles and white papers on the affect information technology has on healthcare delivery. Stacie is an active member of HIMSS, AHIMA and HL7. She served as Chair to the HIMSS Privacy and Security Toolkit Task Force Co-Chair for the HIMSS/AHIMA Privacy and Security Work Group; past Chair of the HIMSS Patient Identity Integrity Work Group, Member of the Patient Identity Task Force and past HIMSS Heart of America Board Member.


Joe Brisson

Chief Technology Officer

Joe he is responsible for bringing leading edge technology to bear on the challenges of healthcare organizations and the Velocity Health technology solutions. He completed his undergraduate work at Minnesota State University with a focus on Business Finance and his graduate work at Keller Graduate School of Management. Joe’s vast experience includes CIO level responsibilities in various healthcare settings from integrated delivery systems to health plans to quality improvement organizations. In 2008, he orchestrated the delivery of the Nationwide Health Information Network (NHIN) Trial Demonstrations, directed the development of a multi-year strategic and operational plans for statewide health information exchange and worked with State Medicaid Agencies to identify HIE sustainability and architectural opportunities.


Hal Gilreath

EVP Client Relations

Hal Gilreath is a partner at Velocity Health Informatics where he has responsibility for business development, partner relationships, marketing and client services. He leads Velocity’s outbound communications and works with healthcare organizations’ leadership and partners to solve complex clinical and business issues. His focus is to deliver high value services with a focus on improving patient care, quality and costs through patient record remediation, data quality and integration. His operational experience includes leading internal and external organizations ranging from small strategy teams to large-scale operations and implementations. He previously held executive positions at Sandlot Solutions; Cisco Systems, and Winn-Dixie; and was a healthcare consulting practice leader at TSC, PwC eHealth practice, and First Consulting Group. Hal is a former Naval Officer where he flew EA-3B’s for the U.S. Navy as a mission commander. Hal holds a B.S. in Operations Applied Science from the U.S. Naval Academy; and a M.S. in Health Systems from Georgia Tech. Hal resides in Jacksonville, FL with his wife, a successful attorney, and a wonderful high school daughter. He is an internationally ranked one-design sailor and former Military Games gold medalist. He actively participates in Masters swimming, road races and triathlons. He holds positions on the Advisory Boards for the Electronic Health Network, the U.S. Naval Academy Sailing Program and the Jacksonville University Sailing Team.
